On this day that Uncle Maurice is laid to rest with his beloved parents, I want to thank my sister Monica who Uncle Maurice called “his rock”. Thank you for bringing Uncle Maurice’s ashes over from England and for organising everything for today to ensure that Uncle Maurice is given the most respectful and loving send off. Rest in peace now Uncle Maurice. Monica, you did him proud.

Uncle Maurice, he always spoke so warmly and proudly of you all.
We met Maurice back in the 70’s in Leytonstone he was such a very kind generous man as we were student nurses
funds would run low end of month and on many occasions Maurice would kindly treat us to dinner at the Equator on
Leytonstone High Road which we were so grateful of.
We had so many good times and laughs through the years no matter how many times we heard his jokes only Maurice could repeat them and still make us laugh.
He was in his element at our family celebrations and christenings with his camera bag in tow followed by singsong and dancing.
Cherished Memories- You were truly one of a kind Maurice Rest in Peace
Enjoy the party up there with all your loved ones.

We have lovely memories of Maurice in London I always remember Maurice with my dad Michael and my uncle Tim ( O’ Connor) at RSK at the yard, great times. Maurice always called to our house in Euston and all my childhood photos are from Maurice he took lovely photos which we will always cherish. Dad and Maurice used to have an annual day out in the Summer with Neily Doona ( Kingdom bar)they were wild! they used to reminisce and talk about the good ol days in London. My last memory was of dad and Maurice in The Laurels bar Killarney at the bar counter, I’m sure they are having a pint together now. A great character with a huge heart and roguery. Rest in peace Maurice.
