Sincere condolences to Mary, Susan, Frank and Jill, and the extended McMorrow family on the sad passing of Uncle Maurice
I have fond memories of Maurice and his late wife, Elsie, who were both incredibly good to me during my university days in Dublin. I will always be grateful for the many times they generously had me over for dinner, making sure I was well fed. Maurice was a fantastic storyteller, and he would often regale us with captivating stories from his days working in the courts. I also know how much he looked forward to his trips down the country to visit his "culchie" cousins even though his roots were in Ballinasloe. It goes without saying the Finnegan family very much looked forward to seeing the McMorrow clan.
As keen runners, Maurice and I shared a great passion for the sport, and I always admired him for completing so many Dublin marathons. He was a man of great wisdom and experience; I often called him to ask for advice, which he was always happy to provide. He is a great example to us all of a life well lived.
He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. May his gentle soul rest in peace, beautifully reunited once again with his beloved Elsie

Deepest sympathy to the McMorrow family on the passing of Maurice. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.
Deepest sympathy to Mary, Susan, Frank, Jill and all Maurice’s extended family. Maurice was a true gentleman, a wonderful uncle from childhood, and a great support, friend (and occasional golf partner!) to his sister-in-law Peggy over the years. So many good memories. Thinking of you all at this time. Paul and Grainne and family.
We are so sorry to hear of Maurice’s passing. He was such a vibrant and fun person, full of mischief and by far one of the friendliest people you could ever meet. To still be running marathons in his 70s puts the rest of us to shame. Our sympathies to all the McMorrow family. I know that his loss will be deeply felt. You took such great care of him as his health declined and he was a very loved Dad and Grandad. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anam.
Condolances to the McMurrow family. fond memories of their living at Cleaghmore. May Maurice rest in peace.
Deepest sympathy to Mary, Susan, Frank and Jill on the sad passing of your Dad. He was a great uncle to have. I will miss his wit & sense of humour, and above all his regular phone calls and visits to Galway. May he rest in peace.
Comhbhrón ó chroí le Mary, Susan, Frank, Jill, Leo, Pearl agus muintir uilig McMorrow ar bhúr mbris. Maurice, who I have known for more than 57 years, was a most reliable and hard-working Courts colleague and my athletics training buddy for many years. As a marathon runner, like me, he didn't know what it was not to finish what he started. Ceol na nAingeal go gcloise sé agus leaba i measc na naomh len a bhean chéile, atá imithe roimhe ar shlí na fírinne, go raibh aige
Our deepest sympathy to McMorrow family on passing of your Dad Maurice our prayers are are with you all on this sad occasion R.I.P
