I had the pleasure of meeting you in Japan when you accompanied Maurice on a business trip over 35 years ago. You gave me a beautiful cross encased with natural flowers from Ireland. We still have that cross in our home and it reminds me of you and your family. Gobnait, know that we are praying for the repose of Maurice’s soul and for your family.

I'd like to offer my deepest sympathies to Gobnait, Cillian, Sorcha, Cathal and Roisin on the death of your dear huband/father. Maurice was instrumental in the setting up and the success of SharingPoint, a small charity which helps those affected directly or indirectly by addiction. He was chairman in their formative years and left a very solid foundation behind when he stepped down from the role. He was indeed a man of great faith and a devoted husband to Gobnait. I got to know both of them through our shared times on SharingPoint board and am all the richer for that experience. Ar dheis De go raibh a Anam dilis.

So sorry for your loss Cillian. Maurice was Head of Nixdorf (Ireland).... my first job out of college!!! I only met him once or twice ... but I remember his presence and grace.
