To all of Mike’s family, my sincere condolences to you on his passing. He was a great friend over the years at many Community Games events. May he rest in peace.

I am deeply saddened to just hear of Mike's passing. I only found out on Saturday last and it really upset me. Deepest sympathy to you Patsy, Shelly,Lorraine, Caroline, Brendan and the entire Bourke family on the loss of your wonderful husband, father, and grandad. Mike was one of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure of meeting and I also had the pleasure of serving on the National Community Games Board with him. He just loved Community Games and always had the interests of the children at heart. There is definetely a book in the craic and stories from Mosney and from the many meetings. He was a thorough Gentleman, and always had a kind and welcoming word for everyone that he met.
He will be sadly missed.
