Condolences to Michael's wife and family on his passing, also to Frances, Peggy, Lily and Liamy and the extended Egenton family. I remember trips in the Austin A35 fishing or swimming. The Moylagh Fete-the Donkey derby. Michael gave the Asses names - Early Mist, Loose Tooth, Prince Bula, Zarathustra etc
Bellaney sports, the asses were tied up in the hay shed and before the race, all the asses wanted was water, so they headed for the river and most of the jockeys ended up in the water. Happy times!

We have many memories of him, going fishing, going to White Lake for a swim and all kinds of devilment. Local sports and donkey derbys come to mind. Michael contributed a lovely story to Moylagh Historical Society's latest publication recently, 'Christmas Memories'.

We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather. Mike was always a kind and generous man to me and Nancy especially when we were new immigrants in America and at our most vulnerable time. He coached me in soccer, advised me on poetry, looked after our cars, listened to me singing, celebrated our successes and extended himself to my mom and my family as if we were family. In fact, we are. We are lucky to have known him and the Egenton family. May he rest in peace. All our love, Niamh Nancy and family
