I am so sad to hear about the loss of Mickey as my Dad, Robert Osborne, Robbie, used to call him. He always considered him a great friend spanning the time of growing up in Ballyknockan, working in the quarry, being in England and working on the Catholic Cathedral in Liverpool. too. I have extremely fond memories of each time we came home visiting and listening to all the stories they had. Happy times. My love and prayers go to Angela and all his family.

I was fortunate to meet Michael at the Freeman Family home in 2010.
My Grandmother, Margaret Dardis (née Freeman) and Michael’s Grandfather, Laurence Freeman, were sister and brother. He took Larry and I on a walk around Ballyknockan, talking about Family, the Quarries and Ambrose Freeman the Stonemason. These memories are important to me. We have exchanged Christmas cards ever since.
Thank you Michael, Rest In Peace.
Angela, God Bless you and all the Family, sincerely, Miriam
