Fond memories of Mr.Mullen during my time in CBC monkstown.RIP.
Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband Michael.
He was an inspirational rugby and athletics coach to me during my schooldays at CBC. I had the honour of playing under his coaching on the Junior Cup team in 1972 and have great memories of his encouragement and support.

Michael taught me in CBC for one year, '61/62', I remember. He inculcated a love of rugby which has been and is a joy of my life. RIP.
A life well lived, Mr. Mullen was a joy to be around. He was a committed teacher and an excellent coach. Sincere condolences to all of his family. May he rest in peace.
Mick Mullen first taught me in first year CBC about 1959.
It was probably his first year as a teacher and all I remember was his kindness and help for the year (even though I had no interest in rugby)

I have many fond memories of the support, encouragement and enthusiasm that Michael gave to me and to many others in my years at CBC Monkstown - in rugby and athletics. He was also, briefly, my first Latin teacher. Requiescat in pace.
Sincere condolance to the Mullen family on the passing of a father, Grandfather and a CBC Legend... what he achieved on the rugby pitch with such small numbers was nothing short of miraculas... His memory will live for many years to come. May he rest in peace.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Michael. A wonderful gentleman, teacher and coach who had a huge impact on me and so many others. My heartfelt and sincere condolences go out to Michael’s family at this sad time, I’m absolutely certain he’ll be greatly missed by them and everyone who knew him. Rest in eternal peace Michael.
