Sincere sympathy to all of the Sheehan family on the sad passing of Michael. Michael was very involved in the club all his life.He was part of the team that won our first East Cork Junior A hurling title in 1955.He was Secretary of the club at a very young age in the sixties. He later went on to become Chairman of the club for a number of years. As well as that he was instrumental in the club securing it's first permanent playing pitch. I know that he was delighted with the progress made by the team in the past couple of years. He was also very proud of the new facilities that have taken place recently. We would like to think that we are continuing on the work that Michael and others started in the late sixties and seventies. Thanks for everything Michael. May your soul rest in peace.

The club had a fantastic evening visit to Michael and Ann's garden some years back and is still talked about as"do you remember the evening we visited Michael Sheehans garden" so you will never be forgotten by the club. Rest easy now in Gods Heavenly Garden Michael.

Sympathy to Ann and all the Sheehan Family on the sad passing of Michael ...I have great memories of Michael back the years .. he was a great community man and was so knowledge on all communty events and was so helpful in all organising skills.I was so lucky to have worked with him ,when I was Secretary of the Cork Makes It Exhibition, and learned so much from him .Our Flower Club visit to his beautiful garden is still remembered and he will be always remembered for his work with the Tidy Towns, Carnivals, and of course Drama.
