I was very sorry to hear of Mike’s passing.

We met in GYT, and there was never a dull moment. The drama was usually offstage, but Mike always rose above it and was always straight in his assessment of any crisis, after which we NEVER went for pints in Neachtain's.

Sadly missed and gone too soon, sympathy to all family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Michael's passing, he was such a sweet and funny person, may he rest in peace.

I first met Michael when he came to the Town Hall Theatre on a work placement. He met loads of people during his time there, and everyone loved having him around. He was such a lovable, funny and sweet guy. I hadn't seen him for a while, and I'm so sorry to hear he's gone. Deepest sympathies to his family. He will be missed.

I have such wonderful memories of Mike when he joined the Galway Youth Theatre production course in the mid 1990s. He was one of a kind and a very special person so highly regarded by everyone. Myself and Mike crossed paths in 2000 doing the fim and tv course in GMIT.
Mike was definitely one of a kind with his humour and wit.
We all bonded over those few years, and stayed in touch online.
