We were very sad yesterday to hear of Michael's passing.We are so sorry for your sad loss Anne and all the Walsh family.We always loved when he called in to our shop - full of laughter,stories and of course with his beautiful photographs.He was a true gentleman.May he rest in peace.

I only heard of Michael's death today . I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great friend of my late brother, Richard, and Imet Michael during his funeral. RIP

Rest in peace Mick, and sincere condolences to Anne, and all the Walsh family. I’ll fondly look back on all the times I spent with him from the day trips over the summer in my youth to the our more recent Friday afternoon conversations over a cup of coffee and sweet treat (of course!). His sharp wit and enduring warmth and kindness will be dearly missed.

My sincere condolences to Anne and all the Walsh family. I have such fond memories of Mick, calling up to the house for tea and biscuits, getting a tour of all his phones/earphones and other gadgets, going for dinners out and cafes for cappuccinos, as well as an impromptu coffee one day when we bumped into each other in Douglas. He was never judgmental and took pride in being kind to everyone. I loved having a laugh with Mick, his witty stories often made my day. I’m very grateful to have gotten to know him over the last few years. Rest in peace Mick.

He was a pure gentleman great neighbour & friend, a great man for the chat stories conversation & jokes he also loved his books & music, interested in so many things he was a great photographer & have few of his lovely pictures which I will treasure now. My mum Jane, and My Dada Big Ray now sadly RIP, always looked forward to your joyful fun visits to our shop in Douglas, back in the good auld days, having coffee, cake and the craic. Michael was a talented photographer with a keen eye for detail. He had a big smile, a big laugh and a heart of gold!
Mum and me loved going to riverview shopping centre in Bandon and seeing his fabulous work on display in our favorite shop. He will be missed! But his work will live on!
