I wish to express my sincere sympathies and condolences to Kevin and Declan on the death of your beloved father Michael. I also wish to offer my condolences to Colette, Katherine, Aileen, Elizabeth, Colin, to all of Michael's grandchildren, his brother David, and all the extended Waugh and Collins families. May Michael's kind and loving soul rest in eternal peace. Michael was such a gentleman, a pure gem of a man to meet. Myself, and my late parents Donal and Helen Hurley always loved his company on the many nights he would call to our house here in Ardacrow, during his Kilbrittain visits, and no sooner had he left when we would be looking forward to his next visit. We used to keep in contact over the phone in later years, and would meet the odd time in bandon shopping centre. We always admired his good health up to a great age, and we were very sad to hear of his health difficulties in his later time.

He and his wife Noeleen RIP, were regular visitors to our house in Poundlick. They were great family friends of ours.
He even took the time to come and visit us when in Boston some few years ago.
He was real gentleman, a great conversationalist and great fun.
