My sincere condolences to Ellen, Tony and all the Whelan family at this sad time. My fondest memories are of the few days I spent with Ellen, Tony and Mick in Brussels on the occasion of Tony's art exhibition in the European Parliament. Banter and laughter were integral parts of the trip. In one restaurant, I think the waiting staff were afraid to come near us because we were howling with laughter. In fact I was in Brussels a few weeks ago and went looking for that restaurant, needless to say I found it and had lunch there.
All I can say to you is to take care of yourselves and cherish all the wonderful memories. Sleep well Mick.
