I was so sorry to learn of Miriam’s death. I got to know Miriam during the days of the disability equality training movement. Miriam was one outstanding person. She had tremendous ability, caring and sensitivity, she was a fantastic social worker and will be sadly missed by both colleagues and clients. I was hoping to catch up with her when she had a bit more time in retirement . I extend my deepest sympathy to Albert and all the family. I am sorry I was away and unable to sympathise in person at the funeral. My prayers are with you at this time.
Dear Albert, Laura, Colin, Claire and family..
I am so sad that you have lost your lovely Miriam. I worked as Discharge Co Ordinator in CUH and shared many cases with Miriam. She was always deeply committed to ensuring the best outcome possible for her patients and I always felt those patients were very blessed to have Miriam as their advocate. She was full of goodness and kindness always. There was time for a chat and many good laughs too along the way.. She always spoke so lovingly of her family.
May your many happy memories of your beloved Miriam sustain you now and in the future and may Miriams gentle soul rest in perfect peace .

I am In disbelief since hearing of Miriam’s death last Friday. I cannot believe that she is no longer with us. I worked with Miriam in the social work department in CUH for many years. I remembered when she first arrived having worked in Dublin . Subsequently we shared an office for a long time. She was so kind , compassionate and professional. We had lots of fun and many laughs .
Miriam fought tooth and nail for her patients and loved her work . She spoke frequently of her family whom she adored. Sincere sympathy to Albert, Laura, Colin and Claire as well as her parents . I am out of the country until Thur so unfortunately I will miss Miriam’s funeral. I will be there in spirit. Slán my lovely friend and colleague. Ní bheid a leideid aris ann.

Just heard the sad news at 10 am mass at CUH this morning. I was so shocked to hear the news and my sincerest condolence to Miriam's family. I will miss Miriam in CUH, she was just so pleasant and caring. She had a strong faith and I am sure the Lord is now caring for her.
RIP Miriam. Always remembered for friendly smile.
To Miriam’s family, I was shocked and saddened to read of Miriam’s death. Such a lovely, kind, caring and funny person. I first met her when she taught sign language to a group of staff in CUH and got to know her better when she became a social worker. I will always think fondly of her when I hear the song “The Rose”. I am sorry that I cannot come to say goodbye to Miriam as I am abroad. Love and sympathy to you all, Annemarie
