I would like to send my sincere sympathy to the entire harte family. My family were neighbours of fachtna and his family for many years n rathbane. I have many memories of him visiting our hse .when we later moved to ashbourne fachtna continued to visit us right up to my mother's celia death.she loved seeing him every year .on behalf of my 2 brothers noel and David our prayers are with u all.rest well fachtna. Sincere sympathty to Anne and the Harte family on the passing of Monsignor Fachtna. R.I.P. We have fond memories of his many visit to West Cork. Fachtna was much loved and held in high esteem by all. May his many stories continue to be told.

Sad to hear news of Monsignor Fachtna's death. (Special sympathy to Mary, of happy remembrance, St. Raphael's) Sr. Columbiere always spoke so affectionately about Fr. Fachtna and his priestly ministry in Florida. May he now enjoy the fruits of his labour.
