My sincere condolences to the Hogan family on Noel's sad passing. I had the pleasure of working with him on occasion in St. Oliver's school in Navan where I was based at the time, and also of sitting opposite him at the bridge table back in Portlaoise. I remember him as a gentleman and a passionate Laois man, who enjoyed all the great days under Mick O'Dwyer. May he rest in peace.

We are saddened to see Noel has left this world.

It was a privilege to be Noels Vice Captain at Trim Golf Club for the year 1989.
I regret,like others, that Noel along with his great friend John McInerney never received the recognition for the remarkable work they carried out to put Club up with the great Clubs in the country.
We are sorry that we cannot attend the funeral as we are away on holidays.

It is with deep sadness we learn of Noel's passing. I/we have very fond memories of our many years shared in old Trim Golf Club on and off the course. Noel was an accomplished golfer and excellent organiser and worker on various committees. He served Trim Golf Club so well over many years. One of the very best he was.
