Ollie was the most wonderful member of my drama classes in Prosper Fingal over the years. From deep political satire analyzing the merits of Fianna Fail and Fine Gael, to passionate Celine Dion songs, he was part of some of the greatest theatrical moments of my career. A true gentleman, who never ratted me out when my terrible steering pushed him into a doorframe on a journey back to the canteen!

I had the privilege of meeting Ollie when I was just 19, as a student on work placement with the IWA, and I was fortunate to continue volunteering there for many years afterwards. Ollie taught me the true importance of care, communication, love, laughter, and the power of simple eye contact. I often think of Ollie and everything he taught me—lessons that have stayed with me throughout my life. I feel truly blessed to have known him. Please accept my deepest condolences to Ollie’s family. I’ve known him since his first day in Baldoyle many moons ago,a lot of interactions,conversations in those years. He loved the banter and a good laugh discussing games of tennis, things going on in Carrick and Blaney his excitement when discussing his weekends with his family. Admiring his new attire and his sense of style always left me in awe of the love you as a family shared. Olly was one of nature’s gentlemen. May he now Rest in Peace with his beautiful Mum and Dad.
