Im very sorry to hear of Owen's passing. He was a lovely man. I did some sub-teaching in St Fursey's many years ago and still remember how kind and welcoming he was. Deepest condolences to all the family.

Condolences to Owen's daughter & extended family, very sorry to hear this news. I'm so grateful to have had Master D'Arcy as a teacher for two years, he was so committed. He fostered a love of reading in so many of us and really encouraged girls in sport, driving us to football and basketball games. May he rest in peace.

We are very sorry to hear of Owen's death and we offer our sincere sympathy to his beloved daughter Keziah and to his sister, brothers and extended family and friends. Owen was one of nature's gentlemen and I have lovely memories of him when he employed me to do" Sub" for him in St. Fursey's N.S. over many years. As a school Principal he was second to none and was much loved by his Staff and pupils. It was always a joy to meet him. When he came to see us in Omeath he was a welcome visitor. Owen was justly proud of his daughter Keziah as was her late Mother, and I hope she will be consoled by the great joy she brought to them over the years. May his gentle soul rest in peace. We are saddened by the loss of Owen and send our deepest sympathy to Keziah and the D’Arcy and Rohan families. We toasted Owen at our family dinner on Sunday and remembered him and the times we enjoyed when he visited us. He had an uncanny ability to connect with people especially our granddaughters. His Memorial Mass this morning was perfect. It captured his spirit. He is sorely missed.
