Not only was Paddy one of the founders of The Cooley-Collins Festival, his commitment, hard work and support for the festival continued down through the years - evidence of his great love for music and his community in Gort.
Paddy, himself, a noted musician and a beautiful singer, never failed to provide inspiration and support for young and upcoming musicians.

As well as being an outstanding musician, Paddy was also a gifted sportsman and a very successful businessman - he and his wife, Joan, opened the first supermarket in Gort.

As he is now reunited with his beloved wife and son, Patrick, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
However, his great legacy will live on.
