One of life's gentlemen, he was a great character with a great sense of humour. We always enjoyed meeting him on his walks with his dog down the years, he never failed to leave a smile on your face. Paddy was a great man to tell a story and will certainly be missed in Ballymahon. Rest in peace Paddy.

I have many happy memories first, with my parents in Paddy's house in Ballymulvey listening to paddy reciting The Trimmings of the Rosary. He just seemed to capture the story in the poem and I was very young at that time but it's a memory that I carried through the years. Indeed he had many talents his quick wit and ability to make you laugh. Rest in Peace Paddy reunited with your beloved Eva.
