Deepest sympathy, Páid was a very fine educator I have very good memories of him during my year in St. Pat's 1981 - 82 and in the following years. May he rest in peace

I was so sad to hear of Paids passing. He was such a gentleman always and success never changed him. He was very generous with advice and encouragment always especially when St.Christophers School Longford was being established. Paid was always there to encourage advise and help in any way he could. Now he is gone to his well earned reward. My sympathies to you all.

Marie, I was deeply saddened by Páid's passing. He was one of the finest people I ever knew. His abiding commitment to Special Education was grounded in his respect for and understanding of people. I have to say, my life was the richer for having known him. May his gentle soul rest in peace. I cannot come to pay my respects over the forthcoming days as I am abroad but my thoughts are with you all.

Sincere sympathies Marie, on the loss of dear Paid, teacher and friend. He was inspirational and legendary - a beacon who lead the way to harness respect, dignity and the right to special education, integration and inclusion. He was a champion, his legacy is immense and lives on. Lead kindly Light.

I am so sad Marie of Páid's departure to a greature place in Heaven!
We temember him so well for his amazing contribution to Special Education in St. Patrick's College and he was an icon in his field!
A great academic, never sought the limelight and was a friend to academica, students and inspectors in my Department.

So sad to hear of Paid's passing. We were children together, students in St Mel's together, and aged together. It now feels like part of my life has gone and left us to grieve his immense loss. However he also leaves a wonderful legacy thro' his contributions to education, for which he will be long remembered.
May he rest in peace!
