I was so sorry initially to hear that Pat wasn't well and then later to hear he had passed away. I know that lovely smile, sense of humour and warmth will be greatly missed. I knew Pat in the badminton world and he was loved and respected by many. Sincere condolences to Pat's family and all who love him.

Dear Nellie, I just wanted to pass on my deepest condolences on the death of Pat on behalf of myself, my mother and all the Quinlans. Unfortunately we were unable to attend the funeral but my mother will be in contact soon. I'm so sorry for your loss and to the rest of the family also.
