I hope you can all take comfort from the love and support you gave him through his life but in particular during the time period since Mrs McCarthy (Marie) passed away. I have fond memories of Mr McCarthy and how proud he was of the accomplishments of his family and grandchildren. Hopefully, a home will be found for some of his amazing plants.

He was a such a lovely man and very kind to me when I started working in UCC many years ago - Pat was the Creamery Manager in the Dairy Science Department (as it was known back then).
