I was saddened to hear of the passing of Patricia. She was always so nice to me when I worked and lived in glengarriff or when I would meet her in Bantry town she had a heart of gold and will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

We will always hold Pat close in our hearts, as she left such a lasting impression on us. She was a true character, and we always looked forward to catching up with her whenever we visited Ireland. Despite her busy life (and she truly was always on the go!), she made sure to take the time to connect, genuinely interested in hearing about what was happening in our lives. We will miss her infectious laugh, her cheeky sense of humor, and the wonderful stories she shared. Pat’s positive influence touched everyone lucky enough to know her, and she will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace.

On our trips to Cork shopping when our children were young, we always had to stop at “the cousins shop” as it was affectionately known as in our house on the way up and return journey for some treats. May Patricia’s gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Pat was a unique businesswoman - before I moved to Glengarriff I never considered the idea that a trip to a filling station might be enjoyable.

Having built the fuel station with the best view in Ireland, Pat’s wicked sense of humour and banter ensured her customers left laughing!

I will miss her.
