A true gentleman, great neighbour and great company.

Amongst many, an abiding memory is listening to Pat recite a chunk of "Shanagolden" on the sideline of a Croi U10's match one Saturday morning.

Had a brilliant store of stories of the old days in Tipp and of his travels thereafter.
