We were so grateful to have Pat as a friend and good neighbour and we will miss him but he will remain always in our memories.

What a terrible shock and sadness has hit us all at the sudden death of Pat. I've only got to know Pat in the last few years through the tennis group. He was always in good form, pleased to see you and ready to play. He loved both telling and hearing funny anecdotes whether in person or online, a great sense of humour with a wonderful turn of phrase.
Pat and I had been trying to meet up for a coffee for weeks but due to his and my travels we kept missing each other. On the Thursday before his accident I had postponed our coffee by finishing with: '........we'll get a coffee together sometime!'
He replied in his own unique way : 'Deffo Gerry. I'll get my people to talk to your people.' Classic Pat Lynam :))
We never got that coffee.
May he rest in peace and be forever in our memories.

Sheila and family, Ann and I were devastated to hear the terribly sad news of Pat’s passing. He was always a ray of sunshine, and will be sadly missed. 💚
