Patrick (Paddy) Casey

It is so sad to hear of Paddys passing. I got to know you Breda in your shop Daisy Blue. I dont know if you remember me but we discussed how we are related and you gave me your dads number to contact him which sadly I never got round to doing. I met him at a funeral about 3 years ago. A nice grand man and a real Casey! I'll call to the shop some day soon.

He was one of the first of my Irish relatives whom I met when I first visited Ireland in 1977. Over the years, I always enjoyed the good company of your father and mother Nellie. I too will miss him.

Had many a great gathering in Gurrane and gave great encouragement to young people. Four of our children worked in The Castle Hotel and they all have fond memories of Paddy and were very sad to hear of his passing.
