I first encountered Paddy on a project in Limerick in 1982 and on several others since then. He was a man who took his architecture seriously and it was always a pleasure to work with him. He was direct and fair in all his dealings. My sincere sympathy to Anne and all his family. May he rest in peace.

I Knew Paddy for many years through rugby and Architecture and it was always a great pleasure to meet and catch up with him .
Paddy was very well respected in our profession and he will be sadly missed.

I was very sorry to learn of the passing of Paddy RIP. We soldiered together with others in HATCH HALL and UCD in our student days. A lovely fellow who will be fondly remembered and missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him in this life. Condolences to Paddy's family at this sad time. I worked on a number of building projects with Paddy and 3 words come to mind regarding him - quality, clarity and consistency. I have said previously to colleagues that Paddy was the best Architect I ever worked with. Dear Anne, I was so sorry to hear of Paddy’s death. He was such a good person and a great architect as well as fellow student. We really missed him at our 50th celebrations a few weeks ago but he was in our hearts and minds and we raised several glasses to him. Paddy was the architect on one of my first jobs (I represented the contractor) over 30 years ago and his attention to detail was the best learning I could have received, and I often refer to it in discussion with colleagues.
