Deepest sympathy to family and friends of Paddy. I was sorry to hear of Paddy’s passing he was a kind soul.
Saddened to read of Patrick's passing, I see that he is known as Paddy to most, but to us in Kenny's Bookshop, he was Patrick. I have known him as far back as when we had a bookstore in Abbeygate Street in the mid 1970's. He was also a regular customer in the bookshop in High St., where he spent many hours browsing. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

I heard with sadness the news of Paddy’s passing, Galway has lost another of its interesting characters, he was well known up town and a frequent visitor to Charlie Byrnes. We shall not see his like again. Condolences to his extended family.
