It is with great sadness that I learned of Peter's passing.  While involved with the Galway Juvenile Hurling Board I had the pleasure of knowing Peter. A diligent referee who was always on hand to officiate at games he was fiercely loyal to the core. Peter often made himself available at short notice and I cannot recall even one complaint during my involvement. To his wife Marian, son David and the rest of his family, relations and friends I would like to extend my most heartfelt sympathies.
