Dear Michael. I am so sorry that I could not be there at Peter’s funeral. I truly wish I could have attended but I’m sure you understand. You deserve all the solace and peace of mind that you did so much for him over his recent difficult life and illnesses. I remember all the good laughs we all had together at many events. Remembering Peter and sending sincere sympathy to all of his family on his sad death, may he rest easy now. Peter was part of every family celebration in in No.15 and we enjoyed meeting him on all our visits to Cork over the years.

Our deepest condolences to the Purcell family. I spent most of my teenage years hanging out in the family home in Shrewsbury and spent a lot of time with Peter, he always treated me so well, extremely kind and a true gent of a man.
Also great a turning a blind eye to myself and Simon’s escapades.
