On behalf of all our members in the Cork Salmon Anglers Association, I want to express sincere sympathies to Nora and family on the death of Phil.

Phil was a man of many parts, but we knew him as an accomplished angler who caught his full share of salmon; a high accolade indeed. Phil was someone you'd always enjoy meeting on the riverbank, good company, good sensible fishing insight, and you'd know that what he said was fact. We were fortunate to have Phil in our club since the early 1960s and to guide us as chairman for several years. We will miss you Phil.
