I WILL MISS THE WARM WELCOME HE OFTEN AFFORDED ME ON MY VISITS TO THE BEAUTIFUL ST.PATRICKS CHURCH MONAGHAN ⛪️ HIS DEAR 2ND HOME 🏡 ❤️ & OUR MANY MANY CHATS WHEN I MET HIM WITH HIS DEAR WIFE PAT ON THEIR DAILY WALKS .

DICK IS NOW WALKING THE HIGHWAYS & BYWAYS OF
HEAVEN ENJOYING THE REWARDS

Last time I met Dick was in the old Rockcorry school before the Service in the church for the new School. All my family were members of Rockcorry N.S.
I have fond memories of Dick's father, Garda Shirley & his lovely wife. He often visited our school , as the Garda barracks was next door. He also visited our farm in Closha Beg.
The late Betty, Dick's sister gave me great help & guidance when I was interested in teacher training.
May your wonderful memories sustain you in the days ahead.

Pat I have just learned of Dick's sudden passing. We with 'the lads' had many happy days in Airfield Road Rathgar before yourself and he 'tied the knot'! He was a gentleman and I know you and the family will miss him sorely. Will be thinking of you as you are this difficult time
