My sympathies to Nellie, Estelle, Mairead, Fiona, Lisa, Ruth, and Susan. Also to Tom, Alice, Mandy and extended families. I am sorry I could not be there. Dickie was a good friend always. He was a talented man, a kind and inoffensive person. Among his talents was his natural flair and love for music. He played button accordion and piano by ear. His mother Stella encouraged him to practice piano every Sunday morning. He was a natural. He was a natural with people, gentle and kind, always in good spirits and of course the smile. Dickie will be sadly missed but his memory will survive. You are in eternal life. May you rest in peace Dickie.

Condolences to Nellie, Estelle, Mairead, Fiona, Lisa, Ruth and Susan and your families on the loss of your beloved Dickie.
Many happy memories living next door to, and living under the "one" roof with Dickie.
Dickie was a gentleman who went about his work in a quiet unassuming manner.
We used to delight in his playing of the box accordian, the music wafting from his house to our yard on a summers evening.
He was a talented craftsman making beautiful and tasteful pieces including dog kennels, bird feeders and wrought iron gates.
Lots of memories unfurling themselves over the last few days of a happy childhood spent in Forristals yard. Amongst many things Dickie created was a full size tennis court which gave us summers of fun!
Dickie had the best smile and was the best neighbour.
Undoubtedly he's now back with his beloved dog Benny and catching up with his many friends and family who have gone before him. Rest in Peace Dickie.
