I will miss my wonderful friend. Over the years he was never far from my thoughts. Since the mid 1980, he was always a source of inspiration to me. God bless him, and now heaven is a better place with Bob and Lal minding his lovely family.

I never got to meet Bob as I only began teaching in Carrick on Suir the year Bob left but I heard so much about this legendary and inspirational teacher from his students. So many older students would still comment on his special qualities. He made a wonderful contribution to the future of so many in Carrick On Suir. Never forgotten here after all those years.
