To Jane and family, please accept my condolences on the loss of your beloved Robin. I got to know Robin in the early days of the Marketing Society and was always aware that he was one of the founding fathers of market research in Ireland. He was a thought leader and an accomplished professional who helped many companies to build their brands and businesses. He did this in his quiet gentlemanly way and made many friends along the way. May he rest in peace.
Dear Jane and family. Deepest sympathies on your sad loss. May Robin rest in peace. Niamh x
For many years Robin was a mentor on the MSc Marketing Practice at UCD Smurfit school. During his tenure Robin provided solid career advice and inspiration to many marketing students and future professionals. We remember Robin for his broad smile, willingness to help and the deep and high quality insights he shared. My colleagues at UCD and I share our condolences with Robin's family. May our friend Robin rest in peace.
So many people in our sector were truly saddened to hear of Robin’s passing. He was an exemplary researcher and leader and a great role model to so many. He was my first proper boss and I do think his drive, energy and competitiveness but also his humanity, curiosity and empathy have been hardwired into many of my colleagues and contemporaries.
First and foremost, it was clear that he was a wonderful and proud family man and I am sure you are all greatly feeling his loss.
Condolences to the Addis family on your loss.

Robin was such a great mentor to so many of us as we started out, guiding and challenging us in equal measure. Not only a great researcher but most importantly a gentleman who it was a pleasure to have met. May he Rest In Peace
Deepest condolences for the loss of your dear father. We have heard what an all round man he was and what he meant to the whole family. We trust that his spirit will remain in each of those he touched in his life. Karim, Sarah, Sam and Alex
Robin was always a gentleman. I first met him in 1998 and many many times after through IMS/Lansdowne; he always upheld his reputation as an excellent researcher and leader, and was always friendly - I agree with the kind words delivered by Eamonn. My sincere condolences to all his family. May he rest in peace.
To Robin's family - please accept my sincere condolences on Robin's sad passing and your great loss. As a client, I worked with Robin on market research when he was my contact in IMS and then followed him to Lansdowne. He was ever a joy to work with - totally professional, knowledgeable and always understanding of the clients needs. His relationship with clients was that of a friend to be trusted. May he rest in peace.
Michael our sincere condolences on the passing of your Dad . May his soul rest in peace.
Very sorry to hear of Robin’s passing. I have very fond memories of my time working at Lansdowne Market Research all those years ago. It only feels like yesterday I sat opposite Robin in his office on Hatch Street, star-struck, as he interviewed me for my first job. Robin was an amazing researcher who was always generous with his time and knowledge. His pearls of wisdom still ring in my ears….none related to football I might add!! My condolences to Jane, Cathy, Michael, Claire, Suzy and the extended family. RIP RJA.
I first met Robin as a student in COMAD when i heard him speak at an event to inspire students to join the market research industry. He was so articulate, thoughtful and professional I was determined to work for him, which i did for many busy but enjoyable years in Lansdowne Market Research. I was privileged to learn from a master of his craft. May he rest in Peace.
My thoughts are with you Jane at this very sad time.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Robin's passing. He was more than just a boss to me, he gave me my break into research, he was a mentor and a confidant who always made time for us, no matter how busy he was. His legacy is such that the majority of the research industry has come under his tutelage at some time. His impact will be felt for a long time in the lives and careers he helped shape. He taught us how to work hard but to also have fun along the way. I am incredibly grateful to have known Robin and privileged to have learnt from him. My condolences to Jane, Cathy, Michael, Claire, Suzie and wider family at this very sad time. RIP (don't worry Robin I checked for spellings before I posted!)
