My sincere condolences on the death of your lovely mum Rose. I have found memories of Sunday afternoons in Kenville in 1960s. Brendan and Rose were good friends of my parents Fred and Maisie Mullen . Fred and Brendan knew each other through the advertising business and their friendship meant a lot to my parents. My recollection of Rose was one of a lovely lady . Barbara Mullen

Sincere sympathy to all the Byrne family. My late husband, Finbar, and Brendan were good friends. Your parents and Finbar and myself often attended events together, especially with the Knights of Columbanus. That was many years ago !! Brendan was very helpful to my husband and I will always be very grateful to Brendan for that. I remember Brendan and his sterling work with the Church and the Dublin Diocesan Directory. Rose and I exchanged Christmas cards for many years after she moved from Greystones. I missed her company very much. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis.
