My deepest sympathy to the family of Rose, a lovely gentle lady whom I had the pleasure of meeting on many occasions in particular with her late husband Jimmy when he was a member of Longford CC. While Jimmy was the councillor, Rose ably assisted and was regularly by his side. I believe she is now reunited and by his side once again.
I apologise I missed the funeral and was unable to pay my respects in person, I hope you take comfort from the rich legacy she leaves and no doubt the fond memories you hold.
