She got me through a rough period in my life a couple of years ago, and while I deeply regret drifting apart as the years went by, I’ll always cherish the memories I have of her. To this day I still listen to a song she introduced me to, whenever I’m feeling down; “I could be happy yesterday - Stiff Little Fingers”.

The songs she recorded with us and her performances at IYMAs events with 60 Watt Girl will always be remembered.

Ruby's spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of all who loved her - Miriam, Keith. Luca, Eva & Ono - who adored her in his lifetime - Gabriel, Benji, Killian all her extended De Burca & Connolly families. Like her parents and grandparents, Ruby drew lovely friends around her. They're so young and will need comfort in their time of grief. My girls remember Ruby's drawings. I remember reading with her as a child and her disarming strength of character in one so young.
