Deepest condolences on the passing of my neighbor and school mate, Seamus Doherty.

Growing up together in Annagh, Belmullet sharing the road to school and working in Cambridge together are memories I will always treasure.

Seamus was a kind, decent man and a wonderful neighbor, always ready with a warm welcome and a good story. Life in our little corner of Annagh will not be the same without him.

My thoughts and prayers are with Bridget, John, Marie, his sisters, and all the Doherty family at this very sad time.

May God comfort you all and may Seamus’s gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Trips to Annagh, Belmullet will never be the same. We will deeply miss our long visits with Seamus, sitting by the open fire, drinking tea, reminiscing about the past and dreaming about the future.

Seamus will be greatly missed by his sisters, Maureen, Bridie, Sheila, and Kathleen, and by everyone who knew him, both at home and abroad. He was a true gentleman, and the best neighbor and friend anyone could wish for.
