I am deeply saddened to hear of Sean's Passing. I always liked Sean and found him to be a very fair, good humoured and generous man. I was employed to work on Reception during Sean & Mary's ownership of the Glenside Hotel and they taught me all I know about the hospitality business. Sean always called me "Maria" and that used to amuse me a lot... I have never forgotten the Christmas Bonus he used to leave in the little brown envelopes in the safe for his staff... He was a great boss and I did tell him once or twice that I thought so.... Remembering Sean and the Good Old Days with genuine fond memories.

He made a huge contribution to business life in the north east and raised the bar in the hospitality stakes with every business he was involved in.
