We love him very much and he will be missed every single day.

Michelle and Harlow, we are so sorry for your loss and your pain is imaginable. We think of you all every day and Shane will be remembered as a kind, thoughtful and a true gentleman. He loved you very much and was so proud of you both.

Cathy and Kevin, what a wonderful man Shane was. He loved his family more than anything and he will remain in your hearts forever.

He immediately made me welcome and showed me the ropes as my supervisor. We had many conversations about life, which i'll never forget. It was a pleasure to know Shane and work along side him. I watched the funeral of this sad young man who god took early in life. Maybe he had his reasons we will never know. It was a beautiful mass and I have to say to his friend Russell who read such a beautiful poem about his friend. It was amazing. Deepest sympathy to Michelle and Harlow. X

My thoughts are with you Michelle, Harlow and family during such a difficult time.
Please know I will always have fond memories of Shane, especially the first time I met him which was during his interview as a Protective Security Officer. It was evident he was a kind hearted and special person and so many of us were glad he joined the PSSB team. He made such a difference to so many of us and we knew we'd gained a friend as well as a colleague.
Rest in peace Shane - you will remain in my heart and mind and I promise to smile and say 'thank you' each time I think of you.

I wish to pass on my sincere condolences to Shane's wife and family. I worked with Shane, as his Branch Manager at Police Security Services Branch, SA Police for two years up until March 2021. Shane was a pleasure to work with. He brought honesty, integrity, commitment, professionalism and courage to the workplace every day; and always with a sense of humour and a smile. Shortly after our last catch up at Henley Beach which all of us will chrisih, we sent a few texts and in the last one appears those two words “thank you for keeping me in your prayers”.Rest in peace beautiful man.
