Our sincere condolences to the entire Linnell family. Shirley was such a friendly, cheerful, chatty person with a genuine fondness for people. She always took delight and pride in the achievements and successes of her friends and neighbours and empathised with their losses. My (Cormac) kind memories of her go back to my early childhood and, indeed, she once told somebody that she knew me since before I was born. May she rest in peace with so many of her old friends and neighbours who have gone before her.
