To Jean and the rest of the Clynes family, I'm so sorry for your great loss this week. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for you all. Simon was a very good friend to me, and it was an honour to be a friend of his. He was extremely kind and highly intelligent, two qualities that do not always go together.
