It is with sincere sadness we read of Sr Angela’s passing. A powerful lady with a gentle character. Sr Angela did so much good for the nursing profession in it’s true since. The patient was the most important person in the hospital and the nurse was trained to understand she was the voice for the patient while the patient was in the hospital. She stood for the nursing professional and by the nursing profession.
We offer our sincere sympathies to Sisters Mary, Martha, to Sr Marie, to Catherine,John and and family and the extended Leamy and Cuff families on the sad passing of Sr Angela.

Sr Angela was my tutor in the late 70s, early 80s and I learned so much from this gentle ,kind and intelligent woman. She encouraged me to persue midwifery and organised a place in London with an equally talented tutor who had been in her own class. She will be missed but her legacy includes an army of Bons nurses scattered across the globe. May she Rest in Peace 🙏
