I am not surprised to see the word gentleman in tributes to Stanley. He was indeed a very gentle man.I am glad to have had the pleasure of knowing him. Condolences to his family.
So sad to hear of Stan's death. As a former Secretary of WORK Residents Association I had many dealings with him and always found him to be most helpful and a perfect gentleman. May he rest in peace.

We were so sorry to hear that Stanley had died. We have many fond memories of him; he had a very warm personality and showed great interest in and concern for others. He and Mildred were a fantastic couple together. We will be thinking of your family at this sad time.

Stanley was a gentleman & Mildred was a lady. A big loss to the Templeville & Templeogue area. Rest in peace Stanley.
So sorry for your loss. Stanley was very much a gentleman and a kind hearted individual. Had the pleasure of working with him when he was an elected public official both in Dublin County Council and South Dublin County Council.
Sad to hear that Stanley has died. I had the very enjoyable experience of being a Councillor colleague for 6 years. He was a lovely man, and also a conscientious , committed , hard working and effective public representative. Stanly was indeed the ideal of a gentle man. RIP.
