Very sorry to hear of Treas's passing,
I remember herself and Pat, very well, along with Sooty too, great neighbours when we lived in the Lawns many years ago.
As a child, I particularly loved the bowl of uncracked nuts in the dining area that I tried to open for hours on end - Also, the pots and pots of jam that she loved to make and share.
I hope and know you celebrated her life with a lovely sendaway -
Grace H and family x
Thinking of all the Brennan family extended families and friends at this very sad time. May Treas rest in eternal peace.
Teresa Shields formally of Rosemount Ave.
Very sorry to hear of Treas's passing. I will always remember herself and Pat coming down to spend their holidays in Wexford. Yes indeed, such a lovely lady. She even saw the funny side when having invited myself and my room mate to Brookwood Lawn for a paella dinner (very exotic for us students at the time), we had gotten the pick up time wrong, leaving a very patient Pat waiting at the designated pick up spot on the Southside for hours. The paella may have been ruined but she was very gracious and the evening was not! Also once on our holidays to Dublin as kids, I followed a lady's classic beige trench coat around Arnotts for quite some time, thinking it was Treas. Once I discovered said trench coat was not in fact Treas, I thought I would be in big trouble for getting lost in the Big Smoke, but no... just a hug and a kind smile. Rest in Peace Treas.
Our deepest condolences to you and your family, Rory. May Treas rest in peace.
So sorry to learn that Treas has died. She was a lovely elegant lady. Sheila O Driscoll Cork
Deepest sympathy. Treas always brought insightful views to our neighbourhood book club and shared great tales of life in Cork when we read Edith. Rest in peace.
Treas was a wonderful neighbour in Brookwood Lawn and even though we only knew her for a few years she was a true and trusted presence in the community. We loved chatting with her about books -- poetry especially -- and her native Cork, often just for a few minutes in passing, but always with great wit and insight. A lovely, positive, brilliant woman. She will be greatly missed. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
Rory, my deepest condolences on the passing of your mother; she may rest in peace. My prayers are with you and your family.

Deepest condolences to Rory and family on your loss. I have very fond memories of Treas from our younger days - she and Pat showed me great kindness at a point when it made a difference and did so with grace and abiding good humour. She will be sorely missed.
