I have many memories of him & Don (& our mums for that matter!) having fun and laughing & maybe even the odd difference of opinion!! Terry & Don had a lifelong friendship that stood the test of time with no technology except for the humble landline, something that we can all aspire to in life I think. I will raise a glass this evening to one of life's true gentlemen. RIP Terry, see you at the bar or jazz club in heaven.

Dear David & John, Liz joins me in sending our heartful sympathy to you, your families and your Mums family on the death on your Dad. I have known Tel for 74 years since we met at school. We have been friends through our teenage years, marriage and families, I have many happy memories of our adventures and time together, enjoying beer, jazz and music. His parents Bob and Doll were an important part of my life.
Due to Covid restrictions we will not be with you in Cork for the funeral but plan to be in The Miter pub in Greenwich to raise a glass (or so) to his memory. This was a favourite haunt of ours.
So Tel I rely on you to prepare the beer music and food for when we met again.
