My condolences to the family of Tom Van Kan. Although I never met Tom I was given his name in 2018 and told he was a man of great faith and spirituality. My dear late wife, Mary, had been diagnosed with a brain tumour and I had several phone calls with Tom when he prayed with me and with Mary. He made a deep impression on me and gave me hope at a time when there seemed like none. I wanted to believe in the miracle cure but it didn't happen. Mary liked him and I know she gained some comfort in trusting his words as he was resolute in his confidence and faith in The Lord and the promise of eternal life. I hope his family read this and draw a little comfort of their own knowing that Tom's influence had an impact on my life and, I'm sure, the lives of many others. May he rest in peace.
My deep sympathy for the family of Tom, may he Rest In Peace.
