So sad to hear the news of Tommy’s passing, he was such a glorious individual, kind, caring, humble. And what a worker, up and about all hours of the day & night, always looking out for his guests and for ways to improve the hotel. Clonakilty has lost a truly wonderful person, he will be missed terribly. Our condolences to Gobnait, his children, Dina, Therese and all the family, as well as his many friends and the staff at the hotel.

I want to say a special thank you to Fr Tony for your very meaningful celebration of Tommys life .It was evident from your eulogy that you had a great relationship with Tommy. You left nothing unsaid and you did him proud.Gobnait and family and Dena's siblings you have to be commended for the dignity you showed in your terrible grief and shock.

Dear O´Donovan-Family,

please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Thomas O´Donovan.

Thomas was a pillar of the community, a person that through his efforts in different areas of public life strengthened his hometown of Clonakilty. He furthered the relationship between our two towns, for that I thank and commend him.

In this time of sorrow, may you find strength in the love and support that surrounds you, and comfort in the many cherished memories you shared with Thomas.

Thomas may be gone from sight but he will never be gone from the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
