Tom and I lived in Oakpark, Tralee. We were in the same class in the CBS and used to cycle to school together. We have not-so-fond memories of the 'Grouch', who seemed to have a particular dislike of anyone from Oakpark. We never met since Tom left Tralee. He was a good friend. My condolensces to all his family and friends.
